At Gene Louw Primary we believe in continuing to build on our solid foundation and achievements of the past. As a community school we are a primary school with a proud character. We are value-driven and we stand together while working hard and always looking to the future.

When it comes to academics, innovation, a high standard, and quality education are some of our top priorities. Our school delivers top achievers in different extramural activities each year and is considered one of the best schools in the Western Cape. Our school is a place of holistic teaching offering acknowledgement and protection of the freedom of religion, speech, and association.

At Gene Louw we strive to know and acknowledge our Heavenly Father (above all else); to make our learners proud of our school's customs and traditions; and be involved in a balanced way and perform to the best of our ability.

Our learners are presentable, disciplined, motivated and courteous learners who accept authority and respect the school rules. We set high standards for ourselves and empower our learners by preparing them to the best of our abilities for the challenges that awaits when they leave for high school.
