Learner Support
One of our main goals is to support each learner as an individual, both on academic and emotional level, to ensure that the learners will develop to the best of their unique abilities.
Our school-based support team (SBST) offers our learning support team and educators assistance, advice and guidance with regards to supporting learners in class. This team is coordinated by Mrs Elize de Wet (Foundation Phase) and Mrs Erna Loubser (Intermediate/Senior Phase). It also includes the knowledgeable and experienced input of our Counsellor, Mrs Chanel Coetzee.
We aim to identify specific educational needs, as well as learning and emotional problems, as early as possible and refer learners for suitable help at an early stage.
Some of the SBST members also provide academic support in collaboration with the internal Learning Support team of educators, during and after school to groups of learners who require additional support in Mathematics, English and Afrikaans.
Mrs Liezl Janse van Rensburg serves as an additional member of the Learning Support Team. She offers learning support to groups of learners from both the Foundation Phase and Intersen Phase.
